About ME

My name is Morgan Reddick, and I am a twenty-five year old college student at Georgia Southern University. I was born and raised in Savannah, Georgia, but I’ve also lived in Key West, Florida and Jacó, Costa Rica. College has been somewhat of a bumpy road, and my path hasn’t always been clear. I first began my higher learning career in 2011, at which time I was a fresh-faced high school graduate. Like many kids at the tender age of eighteen, I had not the slightest idea what I wanted to do with my life. After two years, and a couple of degree changes, I was even more lost than when I started. So like any other sane and logical person would do, I packed my car and drove as far south as I could go, and I ended up in beautiful Key West, Florida. After spending four years there, traveling and learning more about myself, I took a bigger leap of faith all the way to Costa Rica where I worked at a surf camp. I knew almost no one in Costa Rica, and the idea of not speaking Spanish fluently almost deterred me from going, but it was one of the best decisions I ever made. Now I am a little older, wiser, and I have a firm grasp of whom I am and where I want to be in life, but more importantly who I do not want to be. The five years that I spent traveling and living in different places inspired me to go back to school and pursue my degree in history. With this degree, I plan to open my own travel agency geared towards teaching people the different historical aspects of counties such as England, Italy, Costa Rica, and Spain.
